Lesson overview

In this B1 intermediate ESL lesson plan, students will learn about color analysis through a variety of engaging English exercises including situational speaking discussions, grammar correction activities, vocabulary building tasks, and reading comprehension practice.

Warm-up Activity

Students analyze a complex real-life situation and practice conversational English discussing what they would do when faced with such a scenario, developing critical thinking skills in English.

Video

Students watch an informative educational video titled “What colors best suit you? How to find your perfect palette.” After viewing, they complete a matching exercise connecting sentence beginnings with appropriate endings based on the video content to reinforce listening comprehension.

Grammar and Vocabulary Exercises

English language skills are reinforced through various ESL activities. Students find and correct grammatical mistakes in sentences about color analysis. In the second vocabulary exercise they complete words by filling in missing letters to create alternative expressions for finding their colors, building vocabulary.
