Cracking Difficult Accents

In this B1 ESL lesson, students explore vocabulary for describing accents and speech.

Warm-up:

Video:

Students watch a video titled “British Stars on Which American Accent Is Hardest to Do.” After watching the video, they discuss the different accents used.

Discussion:

The students discuss what makes an accent difficult to understand.
