The main goals of this ESL lesson plan are to:
- – learn vocabulary about dreams and future plans while practicing how to make suggestions using “could,” “let’s,” and “shall” through reading exercises and real-life scenarios about weekend planning;
- – improve listening and reading comprehension by watching a video about childhood career dreams, completing true/false activities, and working with texts that show suggestion-making in context;
- – develop speaking and interaction skills through discussing how children think about their futures, participating in comprehension activities, and playing card games that encourage natural conversation between students and teachers.
In this A2 ESL lesson plan, the students will learn new vocabulary related to their dreams and hopes for the future. They will also learn to make suggestions (could, let’s, shall).
