Warm-up:
Students answer a few questions about the topic of the lesson. They also examine a situation and decide how they would act if faced with it.
Video:
Students watch a video titled “How to believe in yourself.” After watching the video, they pick which aspects were mentioned in it.
Exercises:
The students find synonyms for words in bold. In the second exercise, they match words with their definitions. After that, the learners match sentence beginnings with their endings. In the fourth exercise, they match phrases to create meaningful expressions. In the fifth exercise, the students complete sentences with words provided. In the next one, they sort items into correct groups. Lastly they play a game of two truths and a lie.
Reading:
Learners read a short text and then answer a few questions.
Discussion:
The students reorganize words to create a quote about believing in yourself and discuss it with their teacher.
