The main goals of this ESL lesson plan are to:

This B2-level English language lesson allows learners to discover the amazing world of rockets through a range of dynamic exercises, created to enhance their ESL skills.
Warm-up
Students begin with a sentence completion exercise in which they have to organize words.
Video
Learners follow a video called “Rockets 101.” After watching the video, they do a gap-fill exercise to test their understanding of the short video.
Exercises
In the first exercise, students use missing letters to create expressions related to the topic of rockets. In the second activity, students select phrases which define emotional responses. In the last exercise, students categorize phrases based on meaning.
Reading
During the reading comprehension, students read a brief passage on the topic of rockets. This is followed by questions and answers to check students’ comprehension of meaning and detail.
Discussion
In the final part of the lesson, students have a discussion about a quote related to the lesson topic.
