Game theory

The main goals of this ESL lesson plan are to:

• – expand vocabulary related to informed decision making and game theory through definition matching exercises and participating in game show activities;

Warm-up

Video 

Students will view a video titled “Game Theory Scene.” Following the viewing, they will answer questions on the main ideas presented in the video.

Exercises 

Students will learn new vocabulary by matching terms with their definitions. Additionally, they’ll participate in a game show.

Reading 

In this part, the students will read a short piece about the limitations of game theory in real life scenarios.

Discussion 

The lesson concludes with a thought-provoking discussion inspired by a well-known quote.
