Warm-Up
Students will come up with synonyms for the words in the text.
Video
Students will watch a short video titled “Why incompetent people think they’re amazing.” After watching, students will answer questions to check for comprehension.
Exercises
Students will replace parts of sentences with given words. In the second exercise, they will sort phrases into correct categories. Lastly, they will cross out incorrect words in sentences.
Reading
Students will read a short text about why incompetent people tend to overestimate their abilities and answer questions about the text.
Discussion
At the end of the lesson, students will answer questions to spark a discussion.

For a moment I thought: Finally, I will realize why this colleague is so incompetent. But I just discovered that my lack of reading people skill is not well developed enough to the point that I make judgements about them and thus I don't have the right amount of expertise to display a criteria of their behaviour since I am unskill at this or simple need more feedback on how I can read people.
