The power of women

In this Intermediate ESL lesson plan, the goal is to broaden students’ vocabulary related to business skills and women in business. The lesson also introduces and practices the uses of most, most of and the most.

Warm-up
The lesson starts with an exercise where students organize words to create sentences. 

Video
Students will watch a video named “What’s Your Best Business Advice?” Post-viewing, they will fill gaps in sentences to check for comprehension.

Grammar
Focus here is introducing the uses of most, the most and most of. Examples are given to aid understanding.

Exercises
In this part of the lesson, students will fill gaps in sentences with most, the most or most of. They will also complete words with the missing letters to create business phrases. 

Reading
Students will read a short text about women in business, followed by a Q&A session.

Discussion
To wrap up, students will discuss a quote.
