Warm-up:
Students discuss several opinions on workplace dynamics.
Video:
Students watch a video titled “How to Disagree with Someone More Powerful.” After watching the video, they match sentence beginnings with correct endings based on the video.
Exercises:
The learners fill gaps in sentences with words from a box. In the following exercise, they complete sentences so that they have a similar meaning to the original sentence, using the word in brackets. In the third exercise, the learners match verbs with nouns it most naturally collocates with. In the final exercise, they discuss groups of words and what they have in common.
Writing:
Students create two dialogues between an employee and their manager about handling a workplace issue.
Reading:
Students read a short text and answer questions about it.
Discussion:
Learners rearrange words to form questions, then answer them.
