Inflation explained

The main goals of this ESL lesson plan are to:

Warm-up

Participants will watch a video named “What is Inflation?” Post-viewing, students pick which topics were mentioned in the video.

Exercises
In this part of the lesson, students will play a game of The Price is Right. In the second exercise, they group factors that impact inflation into the correct categories.

Reading
Students will read a piece discussing the perils of inflation, followed by a Q&A session.

Discussion
To wrap up, students will discuss how inflation impacts people’s lives using words from a word cloud.
