Warm-up

We’ll start with an activity where students categorize phrases influencing the length of life into the correct group.

 

Video

A viewing of “How to live longer, according to science” will serve as a conversation starter. Post-viewing, we’ll explore the video’s key takeaways through a series of questions.

 

Exercises

Students will engage in a fun activity organizing the following phrases into the correct groups. In the second exercise the students will fill in the gaps in the text with words given in a box.

 

Reading

A reading exercise involves a short text about prolonging life expectancy and answering a series of questions to check for reading comprehension.

 

Discussion

The lesson concludes with an exercise where students discuss a chart related to the topic of the lesson.
