Getting unstuck

The main goals of this ESL lesson plan are to:

Warm-up

Video
Students will watch a video named “Why you feel stuck — and how to get motivated.” After viewing, they choose which reasons for being stuck were mentioned.

Exercises
In this part of the lesson, students complete words to create phrases related to getting unstuck. In the second exercise, they reveal cards and decipher the hidden messages behind the pictures.

Reading
Students will read a short text about getting unstuck, followed by a Q&A session.

Discussion
To wrap up, students will discuss a quote.
