Warm-Up
During the warm-up stage, students brainstorm synonyms for vocabulary in the passage.
Video
Students watch a short video called “Ethical dilemma: Would you lie? – Sarah Stroud.” then, they answer comprehension questions to check for meaning and details.
Exercises
In the first exercise, students substitute parts of sentences with provided words. In the second exercise, they eliminate the wrong words in sentences.
Reading
During the reading comprehension, students read a short passage about moral dilemmas. Then, they answer questions to check their understanding of the text’s meaning and details.
Discussion
In this last stage of the lesson, students respond to questions to open a discussion on the lesson topic.
