Video
We’ll watch a video called “Counting Calories Is A Ridiculous Way To Try And Lose Weight.” After the video, the students will be asked to fill in gaps in sentences.
Exercises
Here the students will have fun by finding diet-related words in a word table. They will also be tasked with matching synonyms to the words in the text.
In another exercise, they will fill in gaps in sentences from the provided list of words.
Finally, the students will look for mistakes in sentences.
Reading
The students will read a short blog post about a failed diet and discuss what went wrong.
Discussion
To finish up, there will be a discussion based on a word cloud related to diets.
